Guests will enter through the double doors on the left side of the Bolling Haxall House.

Do I need my physical invitations or print out my tickets?

No worries at all! We had major challenges with the City of Richmond USPS mail service for sending physical invitaitons. If you received your special token in the mail, ensure to bring it. However if you did not, you will receive it upon arrival.

There is no need to print anything - in the spirit of true Regency-area - we are not using our phones to check-in as much as possible.

Arrival Times

As one of our esteemed guests, you are welcome to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the ball to ensure a smooth and relaxed start to the event. If you are running late, it is ok. Your reservation is secured. The doors will remain closed until 10 minutes before the ball.

Dance Partners

In the spirit of a traditional ball from the Regency time period, we encourage everyone to dance with everyone. We dance together as a community - it will be lovely!

Unique, Lounge Seating

Our goal is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests to enjoy their time together. We encourage you to take advantage of the comfortable seating in the parlor but also get to dancing right away.

Accessibility Accommodations

There is an ADA entrance on the right side of the building. You can view the pictures here for its entrance. This entrance has an elevator to allow easy access to the main floor for all the festivities. There are minimal steps to enter the venue.

Dietary Accommodations — Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan, and allergies

This is grazing style event to allow most of the time for dancing. There are options for everyone so we encourge you to graze on the options for you. There will be labels for food but we do ask you to select your own foods for the duration of the event from the grazing food stations.

Security

There is a Richmond Police Department officer on-site for the duration of the event. This is to ensure a safe event.

Everyone who attends this experience must have pre-registered, even one extra person could push us over capacity. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate surprise guests unless they have pre-registered with Eventbrite or online.
